Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable CDL A Truck Driver to transport raw materials, finished products, equipment, and machinery to and from manufacturing facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locations. This is a non‑exempt, hourly position operating company‑owned and maintained equipment.

Drivers operate semis, flatbeds, lowboys, and box trucks in compliance with all DOT, state, and federal regulations. This role includes a mix of local deliveries and weekday out of town trips, with guaranteed home time every weekend.

✅ All routes start and end at the Frankfort, IL yard

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport raw materials, finished products, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Operate tractor‑trailers, flatbeds, lowboys, and box trucks
  • Perform DOT‑required pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate driver logs in accordance with DOT Hours‑of‑Service regulations
  • Communicate with dispatch to coordinate routes, schedules, and deliveries
  • Follow all company safety procedures and transportation regulations
  • Report accidents, incidents, violations, or equipment concerns immediately
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and check oil and fluid levels regularly

Schedule & Home Time

  • Non‑exempt, hourly CDL position
  • All trips originate from and return to the Frankfort, IL yard
  • Overnight trips occur during the workweek (Monday–Friday)
  • Home every weekend – guaranteed
  • Combination of local routes and weekday out of town runs

Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial A Class Driver’s License (CDL-A)
  • Clean driving record with no major violations
  • Ability to pass DOT physical and required drug screening
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with flatbeds or box trucks preferred but can be trained
  • Manufacturing or industrial driving experience preferred
  • Knowledge of DOT safety standards and transportation regulations
