We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Maintenance Specialist
with extensive hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and a strong background in CNC machinery. The ideal candidate will bring
10+ years of maintenance experience
and
5+ years of direct CNC equipment expertise, ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our production environment. Experience in the
medical device manufacturing industry
is a significant plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on CNC machines, automation systems, and production equipment.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Lead root-cause analyses for recurring equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and validations.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, documentation, and equipment performance records.
- Mentor junior maintenance team members and support training initiatives.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, regulatory, and quality standards—particularly relevant for medical device environments.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience
in a manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with CNC machinery, including troubleshooting, programming basics, and mechanical/electrical repair.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC concepts.
- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment; robotics experience is a plus.
- Medical device manufacturing experience (FDA-regulated / ISO 13485) is preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed to support production.
