Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment to ensure maximum uptime, efficiency, and safety throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical maintenance background and experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment and machinery

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on production equipment

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues involving conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, sprockets, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems

  • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and continuous improvement projects

  • Perform equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns before failures occur

  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation

  • Support production teams by responding to equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders as assigned

  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment

  • Assist with basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs as needed

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills

  • Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Experience maintaining conveyors, gearboxes, motors, bearings, chains, and other production equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical documents

  • Comfortable working a 12-hour night shift schedule

Preferred Qualifications

  • Welding and fabrication experience

  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting, including motors, sensors, relays, and controls

  • Experience working in a union manufacturing environment

  • PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus

Schedule

Night Shift (12-hour rotating schedule)

4-3-3-4 Rotation:

  • Week 1: Work 4 days

  • Week 2: Work 3 days

  • Week 3: Work 3 days

  • Week 4: Work 4 days

Schedule then repeats.
