F-16 Flightline Systems Technician (APG)

In Greenville, SC, Chipton‑Ross needs an F‑16 expert who thrives on flight line tempo, system knowledge, and flawless execution. If you’ve turned wrenches on Vipers recently and can take a jet from snag to sortie, this role is for you.

You will:

• Diagnose and repair electro‑mechanical and pneumatic systems
• Run operational checks and complete periodic inspections on:
• Electrical, hydraulic, and propulsion systems
• Landing gear and flight controls
• Fueling/defueling systems
• Airframe, furnishings, and crew‑escape systems
• Support aircraft movement, launch, recovery, and ground ops
• Remove/reinstall panels, components, and hardware to reach repair areas
• Meet all technical, safety, and quality requirements
• Support sustainment, repair, and overhaul of operational F‑16 aircraft

Must‑haves

• 6+ years recent aircraft maintenance experience (or 4+ years with strong, relevant F‑16 time)
• F‑16 experience required
• Proven knowledge across:
• Landing gear • Powerplants • Flight controls • Fuel systems
• Flight line launch/recovery and ground movement
• High School Diploma or accredited GED

Skills Matrix (Required)

• Aircraft Crew Chief / Mechanic: 4–6 years
• F‑16 aircraft: 4–6 years
• Fighter aircraft (F‑16, F‑18, F‑22, F‑35): 4–6 years

Where and when

• Location: Greenville, SC
• Full‑Time Contract Ends - 1/2027
• 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
• Initial training on 1st shift, then move to 2nd shift
