Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Financial Auditor to evaluate
financial operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and strengthen
internal controls. The role focuses on risk-based auditing, accuracy of
financial records, and providing actionable recommendations to improve
financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop
a risk-based annual audit plan and submit it for management approval.
- Conduct
financial audits and prepare clear audit reports with findings and
recommendations.
- Monitor
compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Review
financial procedures and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Examine
financial transactions, disbursement documents, and accounting records for
accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure
proper recording practices and adherence to approved accounting standards.
- Identify
financial and administrative risks and propose mitigation measures.
- Follow
up on audit findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective
actions.
- Track
and report on the status of corrective actions through periodic updates.
- Review
reports issued by internal and external oversight bodies and provide
professional recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Financial Accounting, or Business Administration.
Experience
- Minimum
of 10 years of experience in financial auditing or accounting.
- Strong
background in financial controls, compliance, and audit practices.
- Experience
related to judicial or court financial operations is an advantage.
