Lead the nightly run at Pretium Packaging
At our Hazleton, Pennsylvania facility, you take the floor at 5:55 pm. The handoff is crisp, targets are clear, and your team of 25–30 operators is ready. By 6:15 pm, you’re aligning machines and talent to the plan, tracking KPIs in real time, and clearing roadblocks. Throughout the night, you partner with Maintenance and Quality, coach on 5S and safety, and jump in on the line when the situation calls for it. As the clock nears 6:00 am, you’ve met output, safeguarded quality, and set up the next shift for success.

Core responsibilities
- Own production performance across key KPIs; track results and drive targeted improvements.
- Lead, schedule, and develop a diverse team of 25–30 employees; identify and deliver waste-reduction and efficiency projects.
- Ensure full compliance with safety and environmental policies; reinforce housekeeping and 5S standards.
- Use the time-keeping system to monitor and approve work hours.
- Support and execute safety and process-improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Maintenance and Quality to keep lines running optimally and products within specification.
- Provide the right training, tools, and coaching so every associate can perform effectively.
- Actively lead or participate in Safety Committees, OEE workshops, 5S, and kaizen activities.
- Roll up your sleeves and assist on the production line when needed.
What you bring
- 2+ years in a production supervisory role within manufacturing.
- 1+ year in plastics blow molding operations (injection of preforms, 2‑Stage, EBM, ISBM, IBM).
- Proven leadership with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Solid knowledge of production processes, including assembly, machining, and quality control.
- Track record of implementing process improvements that boost operational efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving and sound decision-making.
- Proficiency with production management software and ERP systems.
- Clear understanding of safety regulations and a passion for a safe workplace.
- Effective verbal and written communication; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
