Maintenance Mechanic, Asset Care (Greenville, SC)

  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues using safe testing methods and a systematic approach.
  • Execute basic welding (MIG, gas, torch) and handle routine plumbing tasks.
  • Work with A/C and D/C electrical systems; service motors and motor starters.
  • Maintain and repair basic hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Use drill presses, lathes, and saws; apply general machine shop knowledge.
  • Record and manage work in the SAP maintenance module.
  • Follow standardized work instructions.
  • Keep a clean, safe workspace while adhering to GMP, SOP, environmental, and safety procedures.
  • Jump in where needed—other duties as necessary.

What You’ll Need

Education & Testing

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Engineering courses successfully attended and passed.
  • Minimum score of 40 on a mechanical aptitude test.

Physical/Role Requirements

  • Work 8, 10, and/or 12-hour shifts; stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Climb as needed.
  • Recognize and respond to safety warnings, devices, and alarms.
  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Use sound problem-solving to identify cause-and-effect in office and manufacturing environments.
