If building flawless harnesses and crisp solder joints sounds like your craft, step into our Torrance, CA shop for a full-time contract role where your work supports rotorcraft systems. Picture yourself at the bench: IPC-620 in mind, AMP/D.M.C/Molex tools in hand, routing clean bundles, and bringing helicopter cable and electro-mechanical assemblies to life under procedures and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.

Can you say yes to the following?

  • Comfort using AMP, D.M.C, and Molex hand crimpers or crimping machines to meet or exceed IPC-620 guidelines.
  • Confidence soldering thru-hole PC boards and D-subminiature connectors.
  • Fluent with ESD prevention methods and IPC-620 acceptance/defect criteria.
  • Hands-on with signal generators, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and similar equipment to troubleshoot.
  • Skilled at reading blueprints, drawings, and geometric tolerances.
  • Accurate with calipers and basic measuring tools.
  • Solid math for fabrication calculations: add, subtract, multiply, divide, geometry, and algebra.
  • Reliable, with regular and predictable attendance.

Your core responsibilities

  • Crimp, solder, and wire-route helicopter cable, wire harness, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Verify workmanship to IPC-620 and follow ESD controls on every step.
  • Test and diagnose using oscilloscopes, signal generators, voltmeters, and more.
