What you’ll own
- Build, implement, and sustain a robust Quality Management System that satisfies aerospace requirements, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- Plan and execute internal audits and shop-floor inspections to verify adherence to regulations and company procedures.
- Drive structured root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action to resolve quality issues at their source.
- Partner closely with engineering and production to elevate product quality and throughput without compromising standards.
- Coach, train, and mentor team members on quality assurance methods, documentation, and best practices.
- Prepare and deliver clear quality performance reports for management, spotlighting key metrics and prioritized improvements.
- Continuously monitor industry shifts and regulatory updates to keep systems compliant and effective.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of quality management experience in aerospace machining environments.
- Deep familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Hands‑on use of quality methodologies and tools such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and problem‑solving capability.
- Clear, confident communication and the ability to collaborate across functions.
