Your impact
- Execute in‑process visual, dimensional, and functional inspections in line with Control Plans and documented procedures.
- Use metrology tools—calipers, micrometers, and vision systems—to verify dimensions and functionality.
- Record inspection findings on required forms and input SPC data electronically.
- Operate routine QA Lab gaging and identify defects on molded and assembled components.
- Follow Control Plan requirements meticulously; demonstrate consistent attendance, punctuality, and professionalism.
Accountabilities
- Adhere to sample retention procedures; create labels for daily production retains/tailgates at the start of each shift.
- Escalate non‑conformances to the Supervisor/Lead; apply product rejection procedures.
- Keep quality areas and QC equipment clean, neat, and organized.
- When assigned, supervise rework in the hold area and perform final inspection on reworked product.
- Support additional tasks as assigned to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of Quality Control experience; 1+ year in plastic injection molding environment recommended.
- Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and blueprint interpretation.
- Working knowledge of SPC; familiarity with ISO 9001 & 13485.
- Computer skills including Word and Excel; able to analyze QC data.
- Strong attention to detail; effective communication in English; team‑oriented and self‑directed.
