Incoming Materials Quality Inspector

The role at a glance
- Team: Quality Department
- Reports to: Quality Manager
- Location: DeLand, FL (on-site)
What you’ll tackle
- Verify incoming components, raw materials, and finished products meet specifications through visual and dimensional inspection.
- Operate and care for inspection tools: calipers, height gages, micrometers, and a CMM; document results with full traceability.
- Manage control, maintenance, and calibration of measuring and test equipment (MT&E); keep accurate calibration records.
- Support engineers with product inspection activities and maintain robust quality documentation.
What you need to bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fluency reading engineering drawings and specifications; working knowledge of GD&T.
- Hands-on experience using dimensional inspection tools, including a CMM.
Nice to have
- CMM programming/advanced operation experience.
- Prior QA/QC inspection experience in a manufacturing setting.
