Overview:

- Review and approve welding procedures (WPS/PQR)
- Interpret and enforce applicable codes and specifications (e.g., AWS D1.1)
- Coordinate and oversee NDT methods (PT, MT, RT, UT)
- Monitor production and job sites for quality and safety compliance
Required Qualifications:
- Active AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
- 3+ years of CWI experience in manufacturing or fabrication
- Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1 and related standards
- Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings
- Experience with NDT methods (PT, MT, RT, UT)
- Familiarity with welder qualification requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional NDT certifications (PT, MT, RT, UT)
- Degree in Welding Technology, Manufacturing, or related field
Compensation & Schedule:
- - Pay: Starting at $33/hr (flexible for strong candidates)
- Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (occasional extended hours as needed)
