Senior Software Integration Engineer

Caddis Solutions is a Maryland-based engineering company supporting mission-critical work across the U.S. Department of War and Intelligence Community.

Make the next deployment easier—and the next difficult incident easier to solve. In this Senior Software Integration Engineer role, you’ll help deliver fast, reliable, secure software across high-performance computing environments. You’ll connect hands-on integration and automation with Tier 3 technical leadership, helping operations and maintenance teams work through their toughest infrastructure issues.

Where your work makes a difference

• Bring software into the environment. Use the Linux command line to integrate, install, configure, and upgrade commercial and government off-the-shelf products across mixed operating systems.
• Automate repeatable changes. Use Ansible and custom Python modules to manage infrastructure and configuration updates.
• Build dependable deployments. Work with Docker, Podman, or containerd and create Helm charts for Kubernetes services.
• Keep releases moving. Apply DevOps and GitOps practices to maintain and troubleshoot release pipelines, using Git branching and tagging to manage changes.
• Turn hard-won answers into shared knowledge. Lead Tier 3 escalations, diagnose complex infrastructure issues, improve stability, and write installation guides, troubleshooting runbooks, and architecture diagrams.

Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Agile/Scrum practices, and datacenter infrastructure management tools such as NetBox is valuable. If you like making complex technology easier for others to deploy and support, this role puts that interest to work.

Experience and education

This role requires at least 8 years of relevant experience with a qualifying bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a qualifying master’s degree, or 13 years of relevant experience without a bachelor’s degree.
