Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician - $30/hour - $40/hour

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician in the city of Long Beach, CA.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours as well as perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, support equipment, and plant facilities
• Perform maintenance and repairs on air conditioning systems and cooling systems as well as perform Maintenance Mechanic activities that may include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, robot, and PLC
• Read and interpret equipment manuals necessary to perform repairs to required machinery
• Detect faulty operations/machinery and report findings to the Maintenance Manager promptly
• Additional duties may be assigned as necessary by the Maintenance Manager

Qualifications:

• 2-5+ years of experience in performing maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics systems

• Experience with plastic injection molding machine is required

• High School Diploma or GED is required

• Must have a valid Driver License to operate a forklift

• Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and reach in various directions as well as able to be mobile in tight or uneven spaces

• Great verbal and written communication skills as well as good hand dexterity

• Ability to safely trace electrical circuits with a multi-meter and wiring schematic to find faulty components
