Aerospace CMM Metrology Programmer (Zeiss Calypso)

Location: Fort Worth, TX
Compensation: $35–$50/hr
Employment Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Day in the Life

When your day starts at 6:00 AM, you’ll power up Zeiss CMMs and load precision fixtures for an early run. By mid-morning, you’re building or refining Zeiss Calypso routines, translating complex GD&T callouts into robust strategies that capture the true geometry of aerospace parts. You’ll pivot between interpreting engineering drawings, reviewing CATIA/3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) models, and partnering with quality, manufacturing, and design to resolve ambiguities and measurement challenges. As parts move across your station, you’ll verify dimensions, debug programs, and document results—keeping aircraft programs on schedule and in spec.

Due to ITAR/EAR regulations, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), or otherwise eligible to access controlled technology.
