Join a 6+ month industrial installation for a global leader in metals and automation manufacturing, based in Apple Grove, WV (minutes from Huntington). First shift, steady work, overtime potential—and a per diem that keeps you covered while on the road.

- Hourly: $40–$45 (DOE)
- Per Diem: $120/day for hotel and meals
- Schedule: Full-time contract with overtime potential
- Shift: 1st shift, 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Location: Apple Grove, WV (near Huntington)
Your Mission
- Shape, route, and secure flexible/rigid conduit to spec
- Pull, organize, and label control conductors (typ. 30–40 ft runs)
- Terminate into PLC I/O modules, terminal strips, and J-boxes
- Install and precisely align limit and proximity switches
- Decode schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
- Validate circuits (voltage/continuity) using a multimeter
- Champion safety—strict adherence to LOTO and electrical procedures
- Operate with autonomy; troubleshoot quickly and effectively
Bring These Strengths
- 3+ years of industrial electrical install and troubleshooting
- Direct experience wiring PLCs and assembling control panels
- Solid grasp of NEC/IEC code and best practices
- Tool proficiency: conduit benders, knockout punches, drills
- Fluent in drawings and schematics
Great-to-Have
- Large industrial/manufacturing project experience
- PLC cabinet build and field device troubleshooting
