Forming Line Operator‑Adjuster, Packaging
Location: Reno, NV
What you’ll do
- Set up, start up, and dial in forming equipment to hit safety, quality, and throughput targets
- Continuously monitor lines and make precision adjustments during production
- Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance with supervisory support
- Assist with equipment modifications and larger repairs as needed
- Use diagrams and OEM manuals to guide setup and troubleshooting
- Apply strong knowledge of forming systems to solve issues quickly
- Tweak, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment in the Forming HP area
- Pitch in with teammates and take on additional tasks from your supervisor
What you bring
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication plus basic computer and math capability
- Ability to read basic English and operate machine shop tools
Environment and physical expectations
- Work comfortably in hot, dusty areas
- Stand for long stretches during shifts
- Lift/carry 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs on occasion
- Move throughout the facility; climb stairs; bend, twist, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Use hands/fingers for handling tools and controls; push, pull, reach (including overhead)
- Vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, ability to refocus
Schedule realities
Production fluctuates. Expect periods of extended or reduced hours. Weekend or partial‑weekend work may be scheduled, and call‑ins can occur outside your normal hours.
