Industrial Maintenance Support Technician (Bulk Terminal)

Role snapshot

• Company: Premier provider of coal mechanical sampling services in the Curtis Bay area
• Site: Bulk terminal in Curtis Bay
• Team: Work closely with and under the guidance of a Senior Mechanic
• Focus: Operate mechanical sampling equipment and perform preventive maintenance on machinery
• Schedule: Day shift, Wednesday–Sunday; overnight work may be required on some weekends if needed

Core duties

• Initiate and complete Maintenance Action Sheets (MAS)
• Maintain PM schedules and MAS log documentation
• Perform routine inspections and promptly inform clients of any equipment issues
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems

What success looks like

• Accurate, timely maintenance documentation and recordkeeping
• Reliable operation of mechanical sampling equipment
• Clear communication with clients regarding equipment status and concerns
• Collaborative support for the Senior Mechanic to keep preventive maintenance on track
