Responsibilities:
Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work.
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial roofing projects.
Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and conditions.
Obtain and review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to develop competitive bids.
Maintain and update cost databases and pricing schedules.
Assist in the preparation of proposals and bid packages.
Communicate with clients, architects, and contractors to clarify project requirements.
Stay updated on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a roofing estimator, preferably in the commercial sector.
Strong knowledge of various commercial roofing systems and materials.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
