Core Responsibilities

  • Configure and verify TIG (GTAW) settings to meet job-specific parameters.
  • Interpret aerospace drawings/blueprints and confirm dimensional accuracy.
  • Weld steel, aluminum, and Invar 36 components to print requirements.
  • Perform repair/rework on non-conforming or damaged parts.
  • Design/fabricate/modify fixtures, jigs, gauges, and specialty tooling.
  • Keep the work area orderly; conduct routine equipment care.
  • Coordinate with teammates to hit production schedules and targets.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3–5 years of TIG welding experience; aerospace or precision manufacturing preferred.
  • Welding certificate from an accredited technical school or college.
  • Proven experience with steel, aluminum, and/or Invar 36.
  • Blueprint literacy and skill with precision tools (calipers, tape measures).
  • Must meet Export Control compliance requirements (US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.).

Preferred Credentials & Work Style

  • Current forklift and/or crane certification.
  • Flexibility for overtime and varied shifts when needed.
  • Proactive, initiative-taker who seeks process improvements.
  • Ability to partner with management to elevate site performance.
