Insurance Defense Attorney – North Jersey (NJ auto litigation, 5–10 yrs)

About this role

An established Pennsylvania/New Jersey defense firm is adding an insurance defense attorney to its North Jersey practice. You will run your own litigation caseload with real autonomy, in a firm that values entrepreneurial, client-focused attorneys who want a long-term career with mentorship, flexibility and professional development.

What you will do

• Independently manage a litigation caseload of New Jersey automobile matters (PIP, UM/UIM, verbal threshold, motor vehicle liability) for carriers and insureds
• Handle pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, arbitrations and trial preparation
• Communicate directly with carriers, adjusters and insureds

What we are looking for

• New Jersey bar admission (active); Pennsylvania bar a plus
• 5–10 years of insurance defense experience
• New Jersey automobile litigation experience
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload

Compensation: $135,000–$165,000, depending on experience.

Based in the Jersey City office, with a flexible in-office schedule.
