Maintenance Technician

Location: Zanesville, OH

Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift (2-2-3 Schedule)

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00/hour

Bonus Opportunity: Up to $3,000 Sign-On & Attendance Bonus

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production and facility equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore production quickly and safely
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Perform root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders within a CMMS system
• Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• Work closely with operations and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Strong multi-craft maintenance background
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and industrial electrical troubleshooting
• Experience working with three-phase motors
• VFD and servo experience is a plus
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing experience required

Compensation & Benefits

• $25.00 - $35.00/hour based on experience

• Up to $3,000 bonus opportunity:- $1,000 after 6 months

  • $1,000 after 12 months
  • Additional $1,000 perfect attendance bonus during first 90 days
