Senior Full Stack AI Engineer

About the Role

Join a small, fast-moving team at an early-stage B2B marketing AI startup based in SoHo, NYC. You'll design, build, and ship full-stack products powered by LLMs and autonomous agents — owning outcomes end-to-end, working directly with customers, and driving systems that generate real commercial value. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and wants to make a direct impact on product and revenue.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship autonomous agents that automate marketing workflows, with end-to-end ownership from architecture to production.
• Own core product surfaces — talk to customers, define solutions, and ship features rather than just implementing specs.
• Push the boundaries of LLMs in production through prompt engineering, tool integration, multi-step planning, and evaluation.
• Work across the full stack using Hono, TypeScript, Svelte, and Postgres.
• Identify and fill gaps, unblock problems, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks as the product and team scale.
• Drive high-impact work that directly contributes to revenue and product traction.

What We're Looking For

• Must-haves:
  • Eligible to work in the US (US citizen or valid visa) — visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Proven experience building autonomous agents or complex LLM-powered systems in production that run end-to-end and handle real-world edge cases.
  • Full-stack development experience with TypeScript and Postgres, including frontend (Svelte or similar) and backend in production environments.
  • Track record of delivering production-grade features in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development: prompt engineering, tool use, multi-step planning, and LLM evaluation.
  • Ownership mindset — comfortable taking a feature from customer research all the way to shipped product.
• Nice-to-haves:
  • Hands-on experience with Hono and/or Svelte in production.
  • Experience with data-source integrations relevant to marketing or SEO tooling.
  • Familiarity with cross-functional, end-to-end technical ownership for AI-driven products.
• Mindset: Product-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, rapid change, and a fast-moving team. New grads with strong demonstrated ability are welcome to apply.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $140,000 – $205,000 USD annually, depending on experience.
• Early-stage startup equity opportunity.

Location

On-site in New York, NY (SoHo). Candidates must be able to work in-person full-time. Start date is as soon as possible. No visa sponsorship available.
