front-end loader - Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO)

Shift 2 - Monday-Friday, core hours are 11am-5pm, 8-hour shifts

• **Duration: 2+ Months Contract (possibility of extension as per performance)

**Job Description:

**

Operate a front-end loader on a tipping floor.• Perform Pre-Start Checks of equipment• Recognize and remove construction debris from the waste stream.• Recognize and respond to unsafe/hazards in the pit• Continually watching MSW haulers for safety standards that are followed on the tipping floor.• Take direction from the tipping floor attendant as to MSW conditions.• At the end of the shift, ensure the equipment is clean for its next use.• Be fixable with start and end times.• Able to drive a loader in tight quarters to load ash and metal trucks for disposal.
