You start your shift with a quick huddle focused on eliminating waste and aligning with our company goals. From there, you move to your machining cell, load programs, set machine controls, and install fixtures across multiple CNC machining centers. You run a first-article piece, verify dimensions, and fine-tune tooling to hold tolerances. If a robot pick point needs tweaking, you adjust positions using the teach pendant. Throughout the day, you perform in-process quality checks, record production data, and promptly escalate any nonconformances to your Team Leader or Supervisor. Before handing off, you update production reports, PPLH, TAKT, and scrap reports so the next shift is set up for success.
