Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily production in a manufacturing facility. This person will oversee frontline employees, keep the shift on schedule, and address safety, quality, staffing, and equipment issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and hold production employees accountable for safety, quality, attendance, and performance.
• Assign work and adjust staffing to meet production goals.
• Monitor output, downtime, scrap, and other shift metrics; take action when results fall short.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, materials, and other supervisors to resolve production issues.
• Train employees on standard work and support cross-training.
• Investigate incidents and production problems, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct shift handoffs and communicate priorities to the next team.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience leading hourly production teams and managing daily shift priorities.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and employee coaching skills.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and production metrics.
• Ability to work [required shift] and respond to changing production needs.

Preferred: Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and an ERP or production tracking system.
