A day in the life
- Set up and run industrial CNC machines to cut metal couplings to exact dimensions.
- Tweak machine programs for optimal throughput and surface finish as conditions change.
- Swap out carbide cutting tools using handheld tools and follow written SOPs for each step.
- Work from touch-screen interfaces (HDMI) to operate equipment and log production.
- Capture measurements accurately—both handwritten and electronic—and enter data into our database.
- Use math for inspection calculations and tolerance checks.
- Inspect workpieces using dial indicators, calipers, and other instruments capable of reading to the thousandth of an inch.
- Handle common shop and inspection tools, including air-powered tools and handheld wrenches; operate a forklift as needed.
- Prioritize safety: follow all procedures and apply Hazardous Energy Controlled Procedures at the machine.
What you bring
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Consistency and reliability—punctual, present, and self-directed.
- Comfort with 8–12 hour day and night shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays; overtime is required.
- Ability to perform manual tasks and repeatedly lift more than 25 lbs.
- Commitment to PPE and safety: hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, and boots with metatarsal protection.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments.
- Familiarity with forklifts and precision inspection equipment.
- 1 year of related experience preferred.
Pay, incentives, and benefits
- $21.00/hour starting pay

Working environment
