Your truck. Your trailer. Your decisions.
Hermes works with multiple U.S. transportation companies and is looking for responsible Wisconsin Owner-Operators who have their own truck and trailer. We review each operator's equipment, experience, safety history, home base, preferred lanes, schedule and support needs before discussing an available carrier or operating program.
Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Step Deck, Car Hauler, Hotshot, Box Truck, Power Only, Conestoga, RGN/Lowboy, specialized equipment and other commercial truck/trailer combinations may be considered.
NO FORCED DISPATCH. You keep the final decision on the loads you run. Review the load, rate, route and operating conditions before accepting where the applicable carrier program permits.
Compensation, percentage, carrier-specific requirements, authority arrangements, deductions and final operating terms are discussed individually by phone before onboarding. This posting does not promise guaranteed loads, income, weekly gross, miles, dedicated freight, authority, insurance, or universal weekend home time.
Depending on the carrier/program, support may include load search and booking support, rate negotiation, broker and shipper communication, route planning, pickup/delivery coordination, Rate Confirmation handling, paperwork and other back-office support. If you already have a dispatcher, that can be discussed.
No load is worth creating an unnecessary safety risk. We value safe driving, equipment maintenance, Hours-of-Service compliance, professional communication and reliable pickup/delivery. Monday-Friday can be the primary operating week. Weekend work or rest depends on freight availability and the specific program.
Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, Appleton, Kenosha, Racine, Waukesha, Eau Claire, Oshkosh, Wausau and statewide Wisconsin.
