Your day at a glance
Start your morning on the shop floor in Ivyland, setting up CNC equipment for the days work orders. You will load tooling, check offsets, and verify programs in Mazatrol or G and M code with guidance as needed. As parts come off the machines, you will validate dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and gauges, record SPC data, and keep production flowing by troubleshooting minor issues and performing routine maintenance. Throughout the day, you will collaborate with teammates to hit daily and monthly targets while ensuring every component meets ISO quality standards.

What you will do
- Set up and run production across CNC Horizontal, CNC Vertical, and CNC Turning machines; also operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders when needed
- Program jobs of low to moderate complexity and learn higher-complexity programming with assistance using Mazatrol plus G and M codes
- Follow and help refine standard work for setup, in-process inspection, and deburring
- Select and install the correct tooling, workholding, and materials for each job
- Interpret blueprints, work instructions, bill of materials, and technical drawings to manufacture parts to spec
- Conduct ISO-compliant inspections to verify tolerances; document results in the SPC data collection workbook
- Identify defects, adjust processes, and report issues to maintain product quality and machine efficiency
- Perform routine preventive maintenance; troubleshoot and make minor repairs; escalate major issues to a supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of setups, run times, material usage, production logs, work orders, and any deviations from spec
- Meet or exceed production quotas and support continuous improvement
What you bring
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 or more years of hands-on CNC machine operation in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with hand, pneumatic, and power tools including wrenches, drills, and presses
- Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Ability to read and apply BOMs, work instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Problem-solving mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management, strategic thinking, and adaptability
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs individually and 70 lbs as a team
- Comfortable with test pressures up to 30,000 PSI
Preferred
- 2 or more years in manufacturing or other fast-paced operations
- General computer familiarity, including SSO, JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to independently program highly complex parts in Mazatrol and G and M code
