Filtration Assembly Technician

Location: Leetsdale, PA

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $19.45/hr

Work Model: Onsite

Schedule: 40 hours per week; openings across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts

A day in the life

You arrive on the production floor, review the day’s work orders, and pull up engineering drawings on the internal system. You gather materials, verify they match specifications, and begin assembling filtration products step-by-step, referencing work instructions, sketches, and prints. Throughout the shift, you move between stations—setting up and running hydraulic and hand presses, using pneumatic torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and electric drills. You tap threads, apply adhesives, perform light wiring, clean and rustproof components, and handle filter elements and housings.

Before each unit moves on, you conduct inspections to confirm every dimension and torque spec meets quality standards. You pitch in with washing, testing, and repairs when needed. You also keep an eye on inventory and work order status in the internal computer systems, and when returned filters arrive, you disassemble them for credit processing. Cross-training means every week brings a new chance to broaden your skills—and when production ramps up, you’re ready to work overtime to help the team hit its targets.

  • Assemble finished products to spec using work instructions, work orders, sketches, and engineering drawings.
