Senior Reliability Maintenance Technician, Advanced Manufacturing

A day in this role

Your shift begins at 3:15pm in Commerce City, CO. You review the overnight maintenance logs, scan uptime and MTTR trends, and prioritize a short list of line checks. A forming press flags a pneumatic fault; you diagnose the issue using the PLC HMI, verify sensors, and swap a valve to get the cell running. Before the next run, you commission a newly installed robot end effector, update the preventive maintenance schedule, and kitting Kanban shows a low stock of critical spares—so you reorder and adjust min/max levels. By 1:45am, you’ve closed out work orders, captured learnings for the TPM board, and identified a predictive task to head off a hydraulic leak next week.

What you’ll own

  • Execute the full spectrum of maintenance: preventive, predictive, and rapid-response corrective work across a high-volume production environment.
  • Install and commission new equipment and automation to production readiness.
  • Co-create and sustain a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program that reduces unplanned downtime.
  • Design maintenance strategies that improve reliability and throughput while minimizing disruptions.
  • Manage and optimize spare parts using a Kanban approach.
  • Leverage reliability metrics—uptime, MTTR, and maintenance cost—to spot trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot systems and machinery incorporating PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, sensors, and industrial robots.

What you bring

  • Associate’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent hands-on experience and training.
  • 5+ years in fast-paced manufacturing or similarly complex maintenance environments.
  • Deep skill in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Exposure to TPM preferred.
  • Familiarity with PLC and industrial robot programming is a plus.
  • Metal fabrication capabilities (welding, manual mill/lathe, drilling, bandsaw, etc.) are a plus.
