What you will lead

• Front-line leadership for Machine Operators and Utility personnel
• Staffing production lines to meet schedule and target speeds
• Hourly sampling of bags/film; rapid detection of defects and waste
• Efficient changeovers and order transitions
• Routine cleaning and minor machine repairs
• Safety compliance: PPE, machine guards, ZES, shirt tails
• Daily production reporting completed accurately and on time
• Break scheduling and relief coordination
• Performance evaluations, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions; escalating recurring issues
• Training new hires directly or assigning qualified trainers
• Material supply management and housekeeping standards
• Referral of employee complaints and first-step grievances to HR
• Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Practices; other food safety tasks as assigned

What you bring

• 5+ years in manufacturing environments
• 2–5 years as a Machine Operator
• Skilled communicator in person and by phone; clear written documentation
• Comfort reading safety rules, operating/quality instructions, and procedures
• Accurate completion of routine reports and recordkeeping
• Core math proficiency: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
• Professional, concise writing and grammar
• Strong time management and personal organization
• Excellent eyesight and color recognition (no colorblindness) to verify print and color during runs
