Picture an 8‑hour shift on a bustling production floor in Chapel Glen, IN (West Indianapolis). At our manufacturing and recycling facility, you’ll earn $40 per hour while keeping mission‑critical equipment running safely and smoothly across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
As our Industrial Maintenance Welder/Millwright, you’ll blend mechanical know‑how with skilled stick welding to install, repair, and improve plant systems that power daily operations.
What your day looks like
- Execute corrective and preventative mechanical maintenance to keep production assets reliable.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues using blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Install new machinery and handle mechanical and fabrication tasks to support commissioning.
- Service and rebuild pumps, piping systems, gearboxes, and conveyors.
- Perform steel fabrication, structural repairs, and modifications that enhance uptime.
- Champion a strong safety culture by following and promoting EHS standards in every task.
What you bring
- 2–3 years of recent industrial maintenance, millwright, or machine repair experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Must be able to pass a Stick Welding Test (SMAW); solid understanding of metal properties and safe welding practices.
- Comfort using computer systems to document maintenance and manage work orders (CMMS experience is a plus).
- Must have Mechanical Maintenance / Millwright ability.
