Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring our facility operates smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on production machinery, material handling equipment, and facility systems
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime
- Diagnose issues with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, conveyors, PLC-driven equipment, and automation components
- Complete work orders, document repairs, and communicate status updates with supervisors
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals
- Support new equipment installs, machine changeovers, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols are followed
