What a Day Looks Like
You begin your shift by reviewing the day’s build plan and the step-by-step instructions in the green book. You gather components, set up your bench, and assemble printed circuit boards and related mechanical hardware using hand tools and light equipment. As you work, you verify orientation, fit, and finish, perform quick in-process checks, and document progress on a computer. Throughout the day, you keep your station orderly, follow safety procedures, collaborate with teammates, and package completed units so they’re ready to ship—while aiming to hit daily production goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Assemble parts and subassemblies to create complete products.
- Operate hand tools and basic machinery to support assembly work.
- Inspect parts for correct dimensions, orientation, and workmanship.
- Follow step-by-step build instructions from the green book.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and care for tools.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Confirm proper fit and alignment of all components.
- Work toward meeting daily production targets.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus.

- Basic Computer Skills
