Picture this: it’s 5:30 a.m. on Friday in our Bardstown facility. You suit up, check your spray equipment, and turn raw components into finished products that look sharp and stand up to tough environments. As our Industrial Coatings Technician, you’ll be the craftsperson behind that durable, high-quality finish.

What you’ll do

• Prepare parts and surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion.
• Apply paints, varnishes, and protective coatings using spray guns, brushes, and rollers to meet precise specifications.
• Mix and tint coatings to match color targets and finish standards.
• Inspect coated parts for consistency, coverage, and appearance; make touch-ups and corrections when needed.
• Keep your booth and workspace orderly and safe, following all safety procedures and PPE guidelines.
• Coordinate with teammates to hit production schedules and maintain top-tier quality.
• Perform routine upkeep and basic troubleshooting on painting tools and spray equipment.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in painting or a related trade is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in industrial painting or a closely related finishing role.
• Meticulous attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a collaborative crew.
• Knowledge of safety practices in an industrial environment and consistent use of protective equipment.
• Physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.

Proficiency

Proficiency in industrial and commercial painting is expected.

Schedule & details

• Location: Bardstown, KY
• 1st Shift (Weekends): 5:30am–6:00pm, Friday–Sunday (three 12-hour shifts)
• This role includes a shift differential; details will be discussed during the hiring process.
