Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and assemblies.
• Identify mechanical faults and implement durable repairs.
• Use micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges to confirm conformance.
• Read and apply information from blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow all safety procedures.
• Partner with peers to improve machine performance and reliability.
• Accurately log maintenance tasks, parts, and findings.
• Assist with training and mentoring of new hires as requested.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training/certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a machinist or in mechanical maintenance.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial machinery.
• Proficiency with machine tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to interpret technical prints and documentation.
• Strong analytical skills, detail focus, and safety mindset.
• Effective communicator and cooperative team player.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and overtime.
