You start your morning by reviewing open orders, receipts, and transfer queues in NetSuite. You coordinate with Purchasing to ensure stock levels match regional demand, then move to the dock to oversee inbound and outbound loads—verifying packing slips and POs, ensuring each receipt is recorded correctly, and that trucks are efficiently loaded and unloaded.
Midday, you perform cycle counts and organize surplus inventory, keeping storage areas mapped, labeled, and safe. You replenish Profire Technicians’ trucks and complete electronic warehouse-to-truck transfers (local and in-state). Walk-in customers arrive—you manage the walk-in sales process, provide product guidance, and issue timely fulfillments.
In the afternoon, you liaise with Sales, Service, and Purchasing on availability and delivery timelines, drive on-time order release through accurate ERP transactions, and request vendor pricing for special projects. As directed by the Production Manager, you assemble, paint, and test standardized “Fuel Train” SKUs for warehouse utilization. Before closing, you handle site care: building and facilities coordination, janitorial and basic maintenance, yard upkeep and pest control, security/alarm follow-up, and utilities administration (e.g., TXU, City of Odessa, AT&T).
You take direction from the Inventory Operations Manager, collaborate seamlessly with team members, and interact professionally with the public, the Purchaser, and field technicians. Your approach is service-oriented, safe, and efficient—balancing speed with accuracy in a manufacturing setting.
