You begin your shift by reviewing the day’s queue, studying blueprints and tech sheets, and planning setups that will deliver to tight tolerances. You’ll set up and run OD/cylindrical grinding equipment to manufacture metal components precisely to customer and engineering specs. Throughout the day, you’ll verify critical dimensions using micrometers, height gauges, and other precision instruments, and you’ll log measurements directly into our Statistical Process Control (SPC) system to keep quality locked in.
As production moves, you’ll adjust feeds, speeds, and machine offsets to sustain throughput and finish quality. You’ll follow scheduled workflow priorities, flag any deviations to the department manager, and coordinate equipment care with the Lead Grinder or Sr. Specialist to keep everything running reliably. Safety and compliance guide every decision you make.
This is a hands-on position for someone who knows their machines, values craftsmanship, and takes ownership for quality and throughput. Your work directly supports our commitment to precision manufacturing and on-time delivery.
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
