Senior Product Engineer

About the Role

This is a fully end-to-end product engineering role at a well-funded, open-source LLM observability and engineering platform in the AI/ML space. You will own features from the first user conversation all the way through spec, code, documentation, and public changelog — no handoffs, no silos.

Recent examples of single-engineer scope include: an agent observability release, a TypeScript SDK rewrite on OpenTelemetry, and a hosted MCP server for prompt management. This is the level of ownership and impact you can expect.

What You'll Do

  • Own features end-to-end — conduct user calls, write the spec, ship the code, write the docs, and publish the changelog post.
  • Work the full stack — React frontend, Next.js backend, ClickHouse analytics, Python and TypeScript SDKs. Touch whatever the feature requires.
  • Engage with the open-source community — participate in public code reviews, respond to GitHub issues, and contribute to community-visible codebases.
  • Build and maintain SDKs and integrations — maintain client libraries across Python and TypeScript, and support a broad ecosystem of integrations.
  • Instrument and monitor production systems — collect and analyze metrics such as latency, cost, and quality; build and improve tracing and observability tooling.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally — work with product managers and designers using strong async-first communication.
