10-4 Logistics USA is recruiting CDL-A Regional Drivers based in Hamden, CT to join a Northeast regional fleet offering consistent weekly home time, mileage-based pay, and a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Drivers typically operate regional freight from Northern North Carolina through New England and as far west as Eastern Ohio, with home time on Saturday and Sunday.

  • $4,000 sign-on bonus
  • $0.80–$0.85 per mile
  • Home Saturday and Sunday for a 34-hour reset
  • Average 1,500 miles per week, depending on hours and freight availability
  • Average length of haul approximately 400 miles
  • Up to $0.03 per mile performance bonus (up to 3 CPM) based on safety, mileage, and productivity
  • Additional stop pay, detention pay, and Long Island delivery pay
  • Late-model equipment: 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth tractors
  • Benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and paid time off
  • Top regional drivers on this fleet can earn up to $1,850 weekly
  • Additional pay structure: $20 for the first stop, $35 for the second stop, $50 for the third stop and beyond; $65 for Long Island deliveries; detention pay of $12.50 per hour after 2 hours

  • Routes include a mix of live loads and preloaded trailers throughout the Northeast regional network.
  • Primary running area is generally Virginia to Maine, with frequent freight lanes from Northern North Carolina up to Maine and as far west as Eastern Ohio.
  • Occasional assignments outside the primary area may be used to maximize miles while preserving weekly reset time.
  • Drivers who opt to remain out instead of returning home for their reset may have opportunities to run additional weekend freight for extra miles and pay.
  • Willingness to operate in New York City is advantageous but not required.
  • Position is based in Hamden, CT, and supports consistent regional operations from this location.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum three months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
