Accounting Integration Specialist (Part-Time)

Overview:

We're seeking a part-time Accounting Integration Specialist to help connect the ReMatter platform to popular accounting tools including Quickbooks Online (QBO), Quickbooks Desktop (QBD), Sage 50, Sage Intaact, & Xero. You will help guide customers through the accounting set-up process during onboarding, train them on the data migration process, and help troubleshoot ongoing accounting questions.

You will work directly with customer’s bookkeepers / accountants to understand their current accounting configuration and configure templates in ReMatter to properly map the data. This will require an understanding of core accounting objects and the ability to troubleshoot account mapping issues.

This is a fully remote, part-time role with 15-20 hours of work a week. You will report into our Director of Customer Experience. The role pays $25-45 / hr depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help customers set-up accounting templates in the ReMatter system (Bills, Bill Payments, Invoices, Receive Payments, Journal Entries, etc.) and map to associated accounting objects
• Manipulate data generated from the ReMatter system and work through mapping issues and trial imports to confirm successful object linkage
• Work with third party programs such as SaaSAnt & TransactionPro to help customers import data into their core accounting system
• Manage multiple projects at any given time and successfully deliver high quality results
• Act as the Accounting subject matter expert and contribute to future product development and integration efforts
• Work with customers to modify their chart of accounts as needed
• Troubleshoot import errors and ensure customer data is syncing accurately

We’re looking for someone that has:

• Strong accounting background
• Deep experience with accounting programs including QBD, QBO, Sage, & Xero
• Comfortable manipulating data in Excel
• Customer-first mindset with a bias towards action and seeing projects through to completion
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• A draw to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

Nice to have:

• Prior experience with Transaction Pro/Rightworks & SaaSAnt
