Founder Associate Intern

About the Role

Join the founding team of a fast-growing, pre-seed-funded AI startup that is reimagining how top talent discovers and lands career-defining opportunities at leading VC-backed companies. You'll work side-by-side with the founders, owning real initiatives from day one in an intensely collaborative, high-output environment.

This is a fully on-site, live-in hacker-house experience in San Francisco — zero commute, tight feedback loops, and deep team bonding. If you thrive in fast-moving, no-bureaucracy settings and want to do the best work of your early career, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

• Work directly with the founding team to connect exceptional candidates with career-defining roles at elite, venture-backed startups
• Own end-to-end workflows across candidate experience, outreach, and placement processes
• Help ensure hundreds of inbound candidates receive an outstanding, high-touch experience
• Drive cross-functional initiatives spanning recruiting operations, candidate coaching, and client relationships
• Identify and implement improvements to internal processes in a fast-moving, AI-powered talent platform
• Take ownership of projects with real, measurable outcomes — not busy work

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Willingness and enthusiasm to live and work full-time from a hacker-house in San Francisco
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating with founders, candidates, and clients
• Proven ability to deliver results in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments (e.g. startups, consulting, sales, VC)
• At least one prior internship of 3+ months in a relevant field
• Something outstanding on your profile — top academic performance, strong personal projects, an active GitHub, or equivalent
• Comfortable working ~6 long days per week and going all-in during the internship period
• A "get things done" mindset with experience in scrappy, resourceful environments

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in founder-led, intensely fast-moving team environments
• Familiarity with recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR tech workflows
