This 1-year W-2 contract places you at the heart of utility-scale solar repower initiatives. As the Solar Repower Preconstruction Project Manager (T&S), you’ll guide projects from development handoff through execution turnover—planning, permitting, and preparing every detail to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets. You’ll assess existing solar assets, shape optimized repower designs, and ensure seamless integration with transmission and substation systems.
You kick off with a cross-functional standup, aligning engineering, environmental, procurement, and finance on the week’s milestones. Your schedule and budget are living tools—updated as interconnection studies progress and vendor proposals arrive. Midday is for permit strategy with environmental partners and coordination with utilities and local authorities. You close the day by validating safe harbor equipment timelines, sharpening risk registers, and preparing for a milestone review that caps off the preconstruction phase.
