We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support precision machining operations in a production-focused machine shop. This role is ideal for a hands-on programmer with strong shop floor experience who can develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs while working closely with machinists and production teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for mills and/or lathes
Program parts using Mastercam
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
Select tooling, cutting strategies, feeds, and speeds
Support machine setups and first article approvals
Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs as needed
Collaborate with operators and quality teams to ensure part accuracy
Maintain organized program documentation and revisions
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cycle time and quality
Machine shop experience: 3+ years preferred
Machine programming experience: 3+ years preferred
CNC programming experience: 3+ years preferred
Mastercam programming experience: 3+ years preferred
Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes
Familiarity with common CNC controls such as Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, or similar
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
