**Job Title: Scale House Attendant

Duration: 3+ month contract(Temp to Hire)
Shift Timing: 12p-8p, Monday-Friday during training. Saturdays will be required once training is completed. Saturday schedule 8am-2pm.
Work Scope:
A. Operate the scale house computer to accurately weigh trucks, monitor inbound/outbound truck activity, communicate with various departments and keep records of all tickets, manifests and related office supplies.
B. Must be able to provide clear, friendly and professional instruction to visitors/new drivers.C. Must be able to read numbers from a distance and accurately key same data into computerized scale system.D. Provide general upkeep of the scale house and surrounding area and other areas as needed, perform special projects and other duties as required.E. Keep immediate supervisor informed of all problems/matters requiring her attention.F. Contractor must show up promptly at the beginning of each scheduled shiftG. Contractor will be working independently in scale house Monday – Friday and occasional Saturday mornings and covering time off as needed during weekday operating hours.
