Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician
What a day looks like
Starting from Santa Ana, CA, you’ll head to client sites across Southern California to keep critical equipment running. One visit might be a new installation that you wire, configure, and test; the next could be a fast-paced diagnostic to get a system back online. You’ll communicate clearly with customers, capture accurate service notes, and coordinate with teammates to ensure every visit ends with a confident, working solution.
Core responsibilities
- Install, commission, and verify performance of client equipment and related systems on-site.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to reduce downtime.
- Deliver responsive, professional customer support and address questions in real time.
- Record service actions, parts used, and outcomes with precise, timely documentation.
- Partner with peers and cross-functional teams to enhance service quality and speed.
- Continuously build technical know-how and track industry updates and best practices.
- Follow safety standards and company procedures at every job site.
What you’ll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or degree preferred).
- Hands-on experience in a Field Service Technician or comparable role.
- Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting ability.
- Clear, professional communication and customer-facing rapport.
- Self-directed work style with excellent time management.
- Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel to client locations throughout Southern California.
- Comfort with common service tools and test equipment.
Where you’ll work
This role is based in Santa Ana, CA, with regular travel to customer sites across SoCal.
