What you’ll do

  • Produce high-quality dry blends by combining additives to exacting formulas (Blender Operator).
  • Weigh raw materials for each run; organize and store inventory according to our raw material program (Compounder).
  • Package finished PVC pellets into boxes and bags; follow schedules for silo use and labeling (Packaging Operator).
  • Transfer bulk raw materials from silos/tanks into mixing vessels using computer-generated load sheets (Console Operator).

Your impact on the line

  • Keep melt-mixing equipment safe and in spec.
  • Use the correct processing instructions for scheduled jobs.
  • Adhere to setup parameters; check in with the Lead and Supervisor when needed.
  • Communicate quality/process info to teammates and support staff; escalate issues immediately.
  • Cover breaks and step into other roles/lines as required.
  • Complete a 90-day probation.
  • Maintain a clean workstation.
  • Model teamwork and be available for overtime to support coverage.
  • Attend team meetings.

Skills & physical requirements

  • Read and interpret instructions; apply practical judgment; troubleshoot issues.
  • Math fluency: whole numbers, fractions, decimals; compute rate/ratio/percent; interpret bar graphs.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs frequently; climb stairs; tolerate warm-to-hot environments.
  • Lift/cut/dump 60-lb bags multiple times per shift; total shift loading can reach 20,000–40,000 lbs.
  • Operate forklifts and hand trucks; valid forklift license required.
  • Scrape blender interiors; bend, stoop, and lean as tasks demand.
  • Handle drums; consistently wear provided PPE (safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, respirator as needed).

Training & schedule

  • Up to four weeks on first shift for training, then assignment to second or third shift.
  • Overtime (including weekends) as business requires.
  • Open role: 2nd Shift (2:40pm – 11:00pm).
