We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Asheville, NC. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Assist in training new team members on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
