Position summary: 10-4 Logistics USA seeks CDL‑A drivers—both recent graduates and experienced drivers—to operate regional dry van routes east of I‑35. This role offers predictable regional schedules, modern equipment, and paid mentor‑led training for new drivers.

Compensation and schedule

  • Estimated annual compensation: $70,000–$80,000
  • Home time: Typically two days every other week
  • Paid training: First 4–6 weeks with a mentor; training pay $650 per week

Area of operation, equipment, and freight

  • Area of operation: Regional routes east of I‑35
  • Equipment: Late‑model Freightliner tractors with automatic transmissions
  • Freight: Dry van, 100% no‑touch freight

Primary responsibilities

  • Operate commercial vehicles safely: Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and hours‑of‑service requirements.
  • Transport freight: Transport dry van freight on assigned regional routes east of I‑35 according to schedules and customer instructions.
  • Inspections and maintenance reporting: Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections; promptly report defects, maintenance needs, or safety concerns.
  • Record keeping: Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection records, and other required documentation.
  • Communication: Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch and customers; follow established delivery and pickup procedures.
  • Load securement: Ensure proper load securement and follow handling procedures for dry van freight.
  • Incident reporting: Report accidents, delays, or compliance issues immediately and cooperate with incident reviews and investigations.

Minimum qualifications

  • License: Valid CDL‑A (Class A) license
  • Training (recent graduates): Completion of at least 120 hours of truck driving school within the past 12 months (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Age: Minimum age 21 years
  • Regulatory compliance: Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements for commercial drivers
  • Screening: Ability to pass required drug screening and background checks
  • Language: Proficiency in English sufficient for safe operation and clear communication with dispatch and customers
